Citizenship by Investment Programs

Dominica is developing a modern, diverse, and sustainable economy to satisfy the demands of a fiercely competitive global marketplace. The government welcomes investments that will bring steady prosperity and economic growth and open doors for citizens to start businesses and create jobs. The organization is dedicated to giving the administrative and legislative framework the financial and technical assistance required to promote investments and achieve these objectives.

There are two ways in which applicants to the Dominica Citizenship by Investment (CBI) program can contribute financially:

  • Economic Diversification Fund (EDF)

In Dominica, the Economic Diversification Fund (EDF) provides funding for both public and private initiatives in sectors like tourism, sports, healthcare, and education. A single applicant's USD $100,000 contribution to the EDF is required; however, if they want to apply for more dependents to join them in Dominica, the costs will go up.

  • Real Estate

An additional investment choice available to Dominica CBI applicants is real estate. All authorized real estate projects are listed here, and the property must be held for a minimum of three years after receiving authorization from the Commonwealth of Dominica government. This needs to be worth at least $200,000 in USD.

There are also government fees, which start at $25,000 for each applicant.
